Flower show at Lalbagh to salute Indian Army

Bengaluru: The yearly Independence Day flower show at Lalbagh will pay ‘floral’ tribute to the Indian Armed Forces this year. 

In an ongoing meeting, the Horticulture Department chose to pay flower tributes to solders this time. As its auxiliary topic, the show will likewise pay tributes to the Kannada film industry which has finished its 85 years. As per a source in the office, the Flower Show will depict an entire photo of the Army from its origin to now. 

“The current year’s show will enable guests to see the Army tankers and submarines. Weapons utilized by the Army too will be florally shown. All the structure will be constructed utilizing natural flowers which will be shown at the Lalbagh Glass House,” said a source. To get a total a true picture, the cultivation division will have talks with Defense work force, HAL and the war remembrance advisory group.
