Flyers praising Christianity placed at houses in Ullal; locals allege attempt at religious conversion

Mangaluru: A tense situation prevailed in Someshwar locality after flyers and leaflets praising Christanity were found placed at the gates of the households near Someshwar railway station on Friday morning.
A woman happened to chance the man when he was keeping the flyers at her gate. Initially, she thought him to be a salesperson and asked him to leave but he reportedly kept the booklets at their gate before leaving.
A mobile number is mentioned on the flyer and it is gathered that the local unit of Bajrang Dal is trying to contact that person.
The incident has led many to believe that it is an attempt at religious conversion. Police have been alerted of the incident.
