Former BJP MLC KB Shanappa quits party

Bengaluru: BJP senior leader and former MLC KB Shanappa on Saturday, March 16 said that he will be quitting the BJP party.
Shanappa decision comes few days after Umesh Jadhav resigned from the Congress and joined the BJP, to be the candidate for the Kalaburagi Lok Sabha seat.
Addressing presspersons here Shanappa said that he will resign from the primary membership of BJP and further added that Dr Umesh Jadhav was included in the party and was given Lok Sabha ticket while those working for the party from so many years and are potential candidates for the ticket were ignored.
Though Shanappa did not say he will be joining any other party, he hinted that he would support any political party from outside.
