Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy accuses govt of running a transfer racket

Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has accused the current state government of engaging in a transfer racket, alleging that a fixed rate has been established for each post.
Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy stated, “It is ironic to see Congress leaders, who once criticized the BJP government, allegedly involved in determining rates for government positions. While they humorously referred to the former CM as the ‘Pay CM,’ this government seems to have surpassed such practices. It can now be called a ‘percentage government’.”
“I urge for an active street campaign against those who made the concept of ‘Pay CM.’ Let’s paste posters on walls to bring attention to this issue. It is concerning to hear that even officials themselves are discussing fixed rates, suggesting the prevalence of this alleged racket,” he added.
He further said, “I challenge the government to prove its credibility. Previous administrations faced corruption allegations of 40%. Now, it is their turn to demonstrate that the alleged percentage-based transactions are baseless and show that they are different.”
