Former K’taka minister Raja Madangopal Naik no more

Yadagiri: Former minster Raja Madangopal Naik passed away on Monday, July 27 at ESIC Hospital in Kalaburagi.

He was undergoing treatment at the hospital for the last five days after he tested positive for COVID-19. He was also suffering from pneumonia and heart-related diseases.

Raja Madangopal Naik was elected to the State Assembly from Shorapur constituency in 1983, 1985 and 1989 on a Congress ticket and was a Minister of State under the then Chief Minister M .Veerappa Moily.
