Former MLA’s son gunned down by miscreants

Belagavi: In a shocking incident, a former lawmaker’s son was shot dead at Damane village in Belagavi late night on Tuesday, March 19.
The deceased, Arun Nandihalli, son of Parashuram Nandihalli was a teacher by profession.
Unidentified miscreants reportedly waylaid his car while he was returning home and shot him in the chest.
Though locals rushed to his rescue, Arun is said to have died on the spot, said police sources.
Police suspect financial matters to be the reason for the murder. Belagavi Rural Police have registered a murder case and investigations are on.
