Former union minister Oscar Fernandes’s final journey begins

Mangaluru: The mortal remains of senior Congress leader and former union minister Oscar Fernandes, who passed away on Monday, September 13, is shifted to Udupi.
Prayers for his soul will be held at Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi on Tuesday, September 14 at 9.30 am.
His remains will be kept at Udupi Congress office later from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm so that people may pay their last respects.
The mortal remains will be kept at Mangaluru district Congress office later from 3 pm to 5 pm before shifting back to Father Muller Hospital morgue.
The remains will be shifted then shited to KPCC office, Bengaluru for people to pay their respects.
The final rites will be conducted at St Patrick Church, Bengaluru, it is gathered. But the Bengaluru schedule is yet to be announced.
