Four arrested for assaulting Police

Bengaluru: Four men in an inebriated state were arrested for assaulting a policeman in the wee hours of Thursday near HAL.
Police arrested four men for assaulting a police here on Thursday.
It has been reported that four drunk men assaulted police on the wee hours of Thursday.
The accused arrested have been identified as Gautham Reddy (24), Guruprasad (28), Prashanth (28) and Suryaprakash (41).
The accused have been booked them for attempt to murder, assault and using criminal force obstructing a public servant while discharging his duties.
It has been learnt that, the drunk and were playing loud music at Kundalahalli Gate between 1.30 and 2 am on Thursday.
When head constable Sundar Raj and constable Basavaraj from the HAL police station went to the spot, the four started attacking Sundar Raj with beer bottles. Sundar Raj sustained a grievous cut injury while Basavaraj managed to nab Guruprasad and Surya Prakash and alerted the police control room seeking additional reinforcements.
