Four-member gang stab youth after argument

Ullal: A four-member gang stabbed a 24-year-old youth near the mosque here in Mukkachery following an argument.

The injured youth is identified as Al-Sadeen from Mastikatte.

Reportedly, all of them knew each other and were friends and a minor argument over a girl led to the stabbing of Al-Sadeen.

The gang attempted to murder the youth by stabbing him in the back with a knife. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Deralakatte.

It is gathered that several cases were filed against the victim in Ullal police station earlier.

Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar, ACP Dinakar Shetty, Ullal police station officer Sandeep visited the victim at the hospital.

An investigation is on.
