Bengaluru: Four men are arrested by the Kothanur police for cheating people by providing them fake driving license.

The accused are Ajay Pasha (30) and Syed Jeelan (30), Sameer (27) and Mohammed Rehamath (50). Sameer and Mohammad are both residents of JP Nagar. Ajay and Syed hailed from Mandya.

According to the police, Mohammed and Sameer approached people saying they will get their driving licence done without having to attend any test or paperwork of any kind. The people would fall to their trap and would give them their Aadhaar card and other important documents. They would then demand for Rs.20, 000 for the driver’s license and assured them of providing it within a month’s time. Sameer and Mohammed would then go to Ajay and Syed to create a fake driving license.

They lost their luck when one of the victims who fell into their trap realized that the license he received was not original. He immediately filed a complaint against them at Kothanur police station.

The police arrested the four and filed case against them. The police have seizes more than 30 fake driving licenses.
