Four questioned, notices to six for raising of pro-Pakistan slogans

Mangaluru: The probe into allegations that slogans hailing Pakistan were raised during the celebrations organized by Congress party in front of Congress party office at Mallikatta here on May 19th has been handed over to Jagadish, assistant commissioner of police of the city central subdivision here.
The city police commissioner had received complaint from BJP of accusing participants of the Congress victory celebrations of raising slogans in favour of Pakistan. Former MLA J R Lobo had handed over a complaint on behalf of Congress, to the commissioner of police, accusing vested interests of meddling with the video clip with the aim of abetting communal violence.
The police have questioned four persons on the nbasis of the case filed on above complaints. It is learnt that the assistant commissioner has served notice to six persons, seeking explanations from them. To take the investigation to its logical conclusion, the police are likely to seek details from Facebook too.
