Fratricide: Quarrel between siblings ends in murder

Bantwal: In a fratricidal incident, a man was killed by his own brother after an argument.

The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, May 10 at Shriramkallu Nanderabettu in Vitla here.

It is alleged that Balappa Naik was killed by his elder brother Aithappa Naik. The Aithappa Naik is now in police custody for the crime, reports added.

The brothers had fought over an issue a few days ago. During a religious function organized at their house on Tuesday, the brothers again quarreled. The fight soon escalated and ended up in the murder of the Balappa, reports said.

Vitla police are investigating the crime.
