Chaitra Kundapur, who was undergoing interrogation by the CCB (Central Crime Branch) police in connection with a fraud case, suddenly fell seriously ill and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Chaitra, who had been in judicial custody, was recently released to the ‘Mahila Santwana Kendra’ following an extensive round of questioning by authorities on Thursday.

However, when she was brought to the CCB office on Friday,  Chaitra unexpectedly collapsed, exhibiting signs of severe distress, including foaming at the mouth.

Responding promptly to the situation, the police immediately dispatched a team to attend to her. She was subsequently admitted to Victoria Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Chaitra Kundapur was arrested on charges of cheating. It is alleged that she promised a BJP ticket for the Byndoor Assembly Constituency to a businessman.
