Fraud, death threat: Non-bailable warrant issued against PDO

Udupi: In a case relating to money fraud, Udupi Court has issued a non-bailable warrant against the accused PDO Appu Sherigar on Friday May 3rd.

Praveen S Rao from Someshwar Ullal had given a complaint to Kaup police accusing Appu Sherigar of cheating him of Rs 3,30,000, encroachment and giving death threat. But Kaup police submitted a ‘B’ report. Taking exception of this, Praveen went to the court.

Udupi 2nd Additional Civil Court and JMFC Judge Shobha E registered a criminal case regarding the fraud and issued a non-bailable warrant against the accused on May 3rd. Advocate Shiriyara Kalamargi Prabhakar Nayak argued in favour of the complainant.
