Fraudsters create fake FB profile misusing Udupi DC’s identity, case filed

Udupi District Commissioner Dr. Vidyakumari has filed a complaint at Udupi City Police Station after discovering that a fake Facebook account was created using her photograph.
The fraudsters have been sending friend requests and soliciting money through messages.
Dr. Vidyakumari has urged the public to refrain from responding to such messages and to report any suspicious activity to the local police station immediately.
