Freak accident kills six factory workers in Kalburagi

Kalburagi: Six workers from Bihar were killed and many others were injured after a crane fell on them at Shree Cement Factory near Benakanahalli village at Sedam taluk, Kalaburagi district, on Thursday night, August 2nd.

The deceased have been identified as Tabarak Rehman Ali (25), Khokho (26), Sudhakar Sahani (33) and M.D. Juber (32), Bipin Sahani (32) and Ajay (27). The number of deaths is expected to rise, due to the critical condition of the injured, inform the police.

As per the police information, due to gusty wind, the crane collapsed on the workers who were doing some welding work nearby. The police rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation.
