Free ‘Health Kit’ for COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at home

Udupi: District in-charge minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that COVID-19 patients in the district who are in home isolation must be given free medicines at their homes.
Addressing a meeting through video conference reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the district, he also said that those in home isolation must be visited every day and a report must be made on their health status.
“A new 1,500 LPM oxygen plant will be constructed in the Udupi district hospital,” he added.
“480 Remdesivir vials have already been sent for the district and an additional 1,000 vials will be sent soon,” Bommai said.
