Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Mayor Bhaskar K inaugurated the free yoga camp jointly organised by SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences and Hospital, and SDM Yoga and Moral Education Project to celebrate the 4th International Day of Yoga at the Subramanya Mantapa of the Kudupu Temple on May 25th.
The mayor said that practicing Yoga every day can improve health and urged the people to utilize this opportunity to adopt Yoga in their lives.
The International Day of Yoga is celebrated every year on June 21st, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The Yoga camp will be held from May 26 till June 21 at 6 AM and is open to all.
