Gadag: Tragedy while erecting cut out of rocking star Yash – 3 youths electrocuted to death

Gadag: In a tragic incident in Soranagi village, Lakshmeshwar taluk here, three youths lost their lives, and three others sustained severe injuries when a massive cut out they were erecting touched an electric wire.

The incident occurred at around midnight on Sunday.

Around 10 youths were setting up a 25-foot-high cutout of rocking star Yash ahead of the actor’s birthday on Monday. The structure accidentally came into contact with a power line.

Hanumanta Majjurappa Harijana (21), Murali Neelappa Nadavinamani (20), and Navin Neelappa Gaji (19) of Sorangi village were killed due to electric shock. The condition of the three injured persons is reportedly critical and they have been admitted to the Taluk Hospital of Lakshmeshwar town.
