Shreyas reached the beach accompanied with his friends Jhonson and Hariprasad. An ugly verbal confrontation took place between the trio and the gang and resulted with Shreyas being assaulted in the neck and shoulder with a straight razor.

Injured Shreyas was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Thokkottu. The Ullal police have launched a search for the miscreants and after having registering a case.
