Gas Cylinder Explosion Claims Two Lives in Ullal

Ullala: The death toll in the gas cylinder explosion that occurred in Khandike, Manjanady village, on December 8 has risen to two, with a critically injured girl succumbing to her injuries on December 26.

The explosion, which happened while the family was asleep, engulfed the house in flames. Khubra, the mother, and her three children—Mehdiya, Mazhiya, and Maiz—sustained severe burns and were admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte.

Khubra succumbed to her injuries on December 13. Now, Mehdiya has also passed away, leaving Mazhiya and Maiz still under treatment.
