‘Gauri Day’ to be celebrated today

Bengaluru: On the occasion of 56th birth anniversary of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh, the Gauri Lankesh Memorial Trust will be celebrating Gauri Day today.

An event will be held at Town Hall at 2 pm today.

Delegates from Politics, universities, poets and journalists are expected to gather at the occasion.

Sung by Sufi singer Sumati and Hulikunte Murthy will dedicate songs to Gauri at the event.

Books “Nanu Gauri” and essays ‘Gauri Hoo’, will be released.
