Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is probing the Gauri lankesh murder case had arrested Amit Ramachandra Baddi (27) at Hubballi, on July 24. Amit’s mother Jayashri claims that her son is not involved in this case and has been troubled for no fault of his.
“My son is being troubled by the police unnecessarily. Even the earlier rowdy-sheeter case related to a communal incident is not yet proved,” Jayashri added.
Jayashri had earlier said that the arrest was a case of mistaken identity.
