Gauri Lankesh murder: SIT questions Vijayapura Prison inmates

Team Udayavani, Oct 2, 2017, 2:52 PM IST

Bengaluru: The SIT which is in charge to probe on the murder case of Senior Journalist Gauri Lankesh made a visit to Vijayapura Prison here on Sunday.

The SIT is said to have probed those who were arrested for the supply of country made revolvers.

According to sources the SIT team looked confident that a country-made revolver was used in the shooting of Gauri Lankesh and that the revolver was supplied from Vijayapura. “There are limited people behind this racket. So, SIT is trying to zero in on the suppliers. Once supplier is identified, it is easy to track the buyer,” said sources.
