Udupi: Geethanjali Silks, one of the largest stores in Coastal Karnataka, will inaugurate its men’s clothing section on October 9 at 9:45 AM.
At a press conference on Monday, Santosh Wagle, one of the promoters of Geethanjali Silks, announced that the store’s customers will carry out the inauguration, following a customer-centric approach. The unique aspect of the event is that the customers arriving at the store that morning will be the ones to inaugurate the new section.
The new first floor will showcase major domestic and international brands, featuring modern and traditional clothing for weddings and events, office wear, casual wear, and a wide selection of suits, shirts, and men’s innerwear. The store already has a children’s and women’s clothing section on the third floor and an extensive collection of sarees on the second floor.
Ramakrishna Wagle, another promoter, shared that the store has been operating various businesses in Udupi for the past four decades, thanks to the support and blessings of its customers. The growing number of customers year after year is a testament to the trust people have in Geethanjali Silks. He also mentioned that a separate collection of clothing for weddings and events has been specially curated.
Geethanjali Silks offers a wide variety of garments from different cultures across the country. The store provides ample choices for customers, along with well-organized parking facilities and valet services. A hotel is also located next to the store, he added. Lakshman Wagle, Ramesh Wagle, and Harish Wagle, all promoters of the store, were present at the event.
A Large Store for Men’s Clothing
The new men’s section at Geethanjali Silks spans over 15,000 sq. ft., featuring more than 22 brands, including Allen Solly, Peter England, Levi’s, Blackberrys, and Killer, among others. The section also includes a dedicated tailoring unit. Promoters highlighted that customers will directly benefit from company offers.
