Geethartha Chinthane 104: The Power of Inner Inspiration to Face Challenges

Believing that maya (illusion) cannot influence us is itself a significant illusion. Often, without our awareness, ignorance or maya envelops us completely. True peace comes from being ever-alert, with the mindset that “anything can happen at any time; we are prepared.”

Remembering death can, paradoxically, boost enthusiasm. On one hand, stamina is needed; on the other, a degree of pressure is also essential. Without strength, tension becomes burdensome. When both endurance and pressure are balanced, the best outcomes emerge. Tension can drive action and keep one active. Politicians, for instance, endure immense stress yet remain active, drawing strength from their ability to handle it.

Some exceptional individuals demonstrate remarkable activity. Their inner inspiration gives them the strength to face adversities. If even the Kauravas had experienced such sorrow, it might have held some meaning. However, one-sided grief, much like one-sided love, is futile.

More shocking than disciples betraying their teachers is the thought of teachers harming their own disciples. Sri Krishna questions if such doubts about your teachers or elders have arisen within you. He emphasizes that your grief lacks meaning, urging you to overcome it through awareness and inner strength.
