Get Rahul’s blood tested for purity: Ananth Kumar Hegde

Sirsi: Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde on Wednesday stated that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should do a blood test on Congress President Rahul Gandhi for purity.

The statement was made in response to the reports that said Rahul Gandhi had consumed non-vegetarian food before visiting a temple during his Karnataka tour.

He also added that everyone was identifying themselves with their blood (nationalism) these days because of the decades-long campaign by the BJP and the Sangh Parivar. Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah all of a sudden remembered that they were Hindus, he said.

Ananth Kumar also said that the campaign made by the congress across the state will only benefit the BJP.
