Gifts from Make-A-Wish Foundation to Children Battling Cancer

Manipal: In a heart-warming event at Kasturba Hospital in Manipal, the Make-A-Wish Foundation played a pivotal role in brightening the lives of 25 children undergoing cancer treatment by gifting them more than Rs 7 lakhs. The program was graced by the presence of Dr Padmaraj Hegde, Dean, KMC Manipal, and Dr Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. They both distributed the gifts to 25 deserving beneficiary children undergoing cancer treatment.
On this occasion, Mr. AB Bosco from the Make-A-Wish Foundation passionately spoke about the foundation’s mission and its impactful activities. Providing them with moments of joy and a sense of normalcy amid their challenging treatment journeys. The event saw the presence of Head of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Vasudeva Bhat and his dedicated colleagues. Their support and expertise in the field underscored the collaborative effort to bring smiles to the faces of these brave young souls.
Make-A-Wish Foundation of India, a non-profit organization registered as a Trust, specializes in granting life-changing wishes for children between the ages of 3-18 years who are facing critical illnesses.
