Girl found hanging at home; murder suspected

Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old girl was found hanging at her residence in Kumpala with locals suspecting it to be a case of murder.
The deceased, Preksha, daughter of Chitthaprasad was studying at a private college in Mangaluru.
The incident came to light when Preksha’s mother, who works at an Anganwadi returned home for lunch in the afternoon.
Locals claim that they had seen three people visit the house when Preksha was alone and are suspecting this to be a case of murder.
Ullal police visited the spot and registered a case.
