Girl from M’luru bags gold in Speed Skating Open Challenge

Mangaluru/Delhi: A girl from the city has bagged the gold medal in the ‘Speed Skating Open Challenge – 2019’, held at Gurugram in Delhi. The competition was organised by the Ice Skating Association of India.

Anagha got the gold medal in the 500 meter Ice Rink Race category for the age group of eight to ten years.

The victor is the daughter of Dr Rajesh Hukkeri and Dr Anita Rajesh couple and is pursuing fourth standard education at Lourdes CBSE School at Bejai.

She is being trained by Avadhooth Thavade, national trainer in Ice Skating. Additionally, Anagha is a member of High Flyers Skating Club in the city and is also being trained by Mohandas K and Jayaraj, who are the trainers at the club.
