New Delhi: AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appeared bullish about his party prospects in Goa and Punjab, where polling is underway, adding that the states will create history today even as he urged people to vote for honest politics.
“Goa and Punjab will create history today,” he said in a tweet.
“All people must go out and vote. Also take along people from your ‘pind’ (village) for voting. And vote for honest politics,” he said in another tweet.
Faced with a triangular contest with Congress and the ruling SAD-BJP combine, Aam Aadmi Party is fancying its chances in Punjab, where polling began this morning for 117 assembly segments in which 1,145 candidates are trying their luck.
In Goa, 250 candidates are contesting from 40 assembly constituencies.
