The supercentenarian was born on 8 December 1908 at Salvador do Mundo in Socorro, in the then Portuguese colony of Goa.
According to The Gerontology Wiki, which is an encyclopedia about Gerontology, Lourdina married Jose Maria Lobo in 1944 in Camurlim, Goa, and the couple had four children. She was independent well into her 90s, still doing many tasks on her own up until the age of 103.

Her family celebrated grandma’s birthday every year with pomp. Today, grandma is survived by her large family of relatives.
