Gokarna: A group of 42 young men and women from Telangana had a frightening experience when their boat capsized on Sunday at Mudangi, near Tadadi.
The Coast Guard and local rescue teams quickly came to the scene. They managed to bring all the tourists safely back to shore. Thankfully, everyone was wearing life jackets, so there were no serious injuries, just some minor ones.
However, many personal items like mobile phones and bags were lost in the water or got damaged.
The Gokarna police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
