Mangaluru: Officials of Customs department at Mangaluru International Airport detained a passenger and confiscated gold worth Rs. 34.18 lakh his possession on Thursday.
The passenger who had arrived from Dubai was trying to smuggle gold concealed in form of paste.
The passenger was later handed over to Bajpe police.
