New Delhi: Google Pay rolled out a new feature in India, where users can add a bank account with a credit or debit Card driven by NFC (Near Field Communication) as their payment mode.
This new feature will help Google to start a tokenized payment card. Last year, ‘Google for India’ informed to introduce a secure online payment service on Google Pay using credit cards and debit cards. However, this feature was not reached users for a year.
As per sources, Google Pay is offering support to add credit and debit cards now. Users have to enter the OTP received from the bank to add their card to the application so that their card is verified. Once registered, they will be able to use this easily
Reportedly, the feature has been available to select users over the past month. It is gathered that this service will be available to all in the future.
