Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has criticised the State government for forgetting Independence Day celebrations in its internal struggle for power.
In a tweet, the KPCC mentioned a news report from Udayavani.
“The BJP, which does not have even a small contribution to India’s Independence, is also not aware of Independence Day celebrations. It is unforgivable that the government has ignored the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to honour the sacrifices made for freedom. The power-hungry government, always in internal fights, has also forgotten floods and the COVID-19 pandemic in the State along with Independence Day,” the tweet said.
