Govt official dies of cardiac arrest while riding bike

Thokkottu: A revenue inspector died of cardiac arrest while riding bike here in Thokkottu on Sunday, September 30th. The deceased government official has been identified as Devdas Shriyan (58), revenue inspector of Kotekar council.
On Sunday evening, Mr Shriyan was riding his bike near Kolya on NH 66 when he suffered a cardiac arrest. Immediately he was taken to hospital, but he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
The deceased is survived by wife and children. Ullal police have registered a case.
