Govt ready give protection to anyone who provides info on drug peddling: Jagadish Shettar

Kalaburagi: The Large and Medium Scales Industries Minister Jagadish Shettar on Monday, August 31 said that the government is committed to curbing drugs in the state and everyone in the film industry should cooperate with the government.
Speaking to the reporters, Shettar said, “Government is taking bold steps against the drug peddling. We are collecting all the information about the people involved in this.”
“The government has given protection to Indrajit Lankesh who came forward to provide information on this. The government is ready to provide proper protection to anyone who came forward to give information about drug mafia,” he said.
