Govt to soon build cycling track in four directions of Bengaluru: Bommai

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said the state government will build the “best cycling tracks in all four directions of the city” to encourage cycling enthusiasts.

He was speaking after flagging off the “Cheer India” cyclothon in support of the Indian Olympic sports stars in Bengaluru.

Bommai said, ” Cycling enthusiasts had submitted a memorandum to the state government to build a cycling track in the upcoming Shivaram Karanth Layout. The government will build the best cycling tracks in all four directions of the city.”

The “Cheer India”  cyclothon was organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha.  Union Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Bangalore South MP and National BJP Yuva Morcha President Tejasvi Surya and former Minister, K. Sudhakar were also present.
