Govt to take action against 17 Universities in Karnataka for irregularities: Minister

Davanagere: Karnataka state Higher Education Minister R Basavaraj Rayareddy has said illegal translations, corruption has been reported in 17 universities of Karnataka state and the government will take necessary legal action against them. The minister was speaking to the media persons in the city on Friday. He said his ministry has asked the district collectors of the repetitive districts where the universities located within a month and based on the reports submitted the government will take necessary actions against concerned authorities, officers for any wrongdoings, he said.
