GP Polls: Chits with symbols of candidates seized in Puttur

Puttur: Assistant commissioner Yathish Ulla, on Sunday, December 27, instructed the election officials to seize the set of chits carrying the symbols of candidates found outside the polling booth in Hantyar school in Puttur.
Yathish Ullal noticed a voter holding the chit carrying symbols of candidates, following which he directed the officials to seize the chits.
Further probe revealed that the chits carrying the symbols of candidates were found outside the polling booth.
Voting in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts is underway and the counting of votes will be held on December 30.
