Groom takes his newly-wedded wife in a JCB

Puttur: In a memorable incident, the groom who is employed as a backhoe (JCB) operator, chose JCB instead of any high end cars to take his newly wedded wife on procession.
The groom, Chetan from Kallakatta apparently wanted to show his newly wedded wife Mamata on riding JCB.
The unique wedding procession attracted the attention of scores of people.
It has been reported that, Chetan had made necessary plans and got the backhoe for which he works, parked outside the marriage hall. The vehicle had been decorated for this occasion. As soon as marriage formalities were completed, he got seated on the vehicle and got his newlywed wife also to sit by his side. As the people around looked on, he drove the machine till Santyar.
Once he reached Santyar, Chetan along with his wife got ensconced inside the bucket attached to the backhoe and asked his friend to operate the backhoe and preceded to his house.
People in general were astonished and appreciated Chetan for his idea.
