Grotesque accident at Kokkada claims two lives

Puttur: Two persons died on the spot after the car they were travelling in collided with a KSRTC bus at Kokkada on Sunday night, August 5th.

The deceased have been identified as Dinesh (32) and Sandesh (30), both hailing from Dharmasthala.

According to reports, the car in which Dinesh and Sandesh were travelling crashed into the KSRTC bus which was plying to Bengaluru from Dharmasthala. The impact of the collision smashed the car thereby also causing some delay for the local youths to pull out the victims from the car. By the time the victims were removed out of the car, it was ascertained that the duo had already breathed their last.

A case has been registered with Uppinangady police.
