Mangaluru: Clashes were reported during the Eid Milad festival rally at Santhosh Nagar, Kuthar here on Tuesday, November 20.
Reportedly a group from Santhosh Nagar here confronted the other group from Madaka for taking out a rally in their area. Raged by this the Madaka group assaulted the other group members. The fight was called off only after police personnel from Ullal station rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile, police security was beefed up in the area to prevent untoward incidents later.
