Luxury brand Gucci has been trolled for selling inverted cat eye sunglasses for $755 (₹55,672).The Inverted Cat Eye accessory was released earlier this week.

“An unconventional take on the ’50s and ’60s inspired cat eye frames, these sunglasses are presented with inverted design, creating an ‘upside down’ effect,” Gucci described them.

The new upside-down sunglasses design by Gucci has come in for some stick, with social media users calling out the unusual sunnies for making them feel ‘uncomfortable’.

After Iranian-American writer Porochista Khakpour tweeted, “Gucci why are we doing this[?]”, several others mocked Gucci.
