Guinness World Records: British championship powerlifter squat-lifts own body weight 42 times in 1 minute

London: Karenjeet Kaur Bains (25), a British champion powerlifter has created a new Guinness World Record by squat-lifting her own body weight 42 times in one minute.
Speaking to the Guinness World Records, she said that she was extremely proud to be the holder of a Guinness World Records title.
“To say I have made a mark in history by not only being the first British Sikh female to represent Great Britain in powerlifting but to also be an official world record holder is an incredible feeling”, she said to Guinness World Records.
Bains had taken up powerlifting at the age of 17 and has bagged several championship titles.
