Nitsha Muliyasha (20), a Gujarati girl is one of the soldiers in Israel Defense Forces who are on the front of the renewed conflict against the terrorist group Hamas after a 11-day ceasefire.
Muliyasha was born in Kothadi village in Rajkot district’s Manavadar taluka. Her family, employed in the diamond industry, is settled in Tel Aviv.
Muliyasha is serving her 2.4 years of military service mandated in Israel for all after turning 18 years old.
She was stationed on the Israeli border with Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt in the past two years and is presently at Gush Dan, the site from where Israeli counterattacks against Hamas sites in Gaza Strip are controlled.
There are more than 40 Gujarati families living in Tel Aviv, mostly employed in the diamond trade.
Israel re-started airstrikes on Gaza Strip from Wednesday after Hamas started sending bomb-filled balloons into Israel.
