Guthigaru: Policemen who arrived to chase away individuals openly consuming alcohol at the local bus stand on Wednesday were allegedly intoxicated themselves.

This incident has been captured on video and is circulating online.

At the Guthigaru bus stand, some individuals were consuming alcohol, breaking bottles, and creating a nuisance for the public. A woman called the emergency helpline 112 to report the disturbance.

Hoysala Police jeep was dispatched to the scene. However, the cops’ behavior raised suspicions among the public that the policemen were also intoxicated, leading to people recording their actions on mobile phones.

Some directly confronted the policemen and advised them against driving under the influence, all of which were captured on video.
