When will the road between Parane-Bambilabail change?

Savanur: During the summer, it is a road, come monsoon, it becomes a gutter. This is the state of the road from Parane in Paltadi village in Savanur GP within Belandur ZP limits to Bambilabail.
During the monsoon last year, this road was inundated more than 20 times. Later, the Tahsildar, TP Operating Officer, ZP Engineer and peoples’ representatives visited the area as per the request of the people here and conducted inspection. Because of this, the people here believe that the problem will be solved before the arrival of monsoon.
More than 50 houses
The road which goes from Parani to Bambilabailu via Minakolenji, Jarigettadi and Chakotettadi has persisted as people’s problem since decades. This road is the only connection to over 50 families along its route and during the monsoon; it is a real challenge for one to reach one’s residence. The students must cross the road to reach their schools and colleges and the parents are scared to send their small children.
Mostly cultivators
Most of the people here are vegetable, areca nut and coconut cultivators who mostly depend on this road. During the monsoon season, they find it challenging to transport their produce to the markets. There is a need for a bridge to be constructed here. If a proper drain is constructed here, the intensity of the problem may be reduced.
Minor bridge necessary
The road here gets inundated during the monsoon. Since the surface of the road cannot be assumed and as it is covered with muddy water, traversing the road is a dangerous proposition. Construction of a minor bridge here is essential,” says Vasant Gowda Chakotettadi, a local
