Deve Gowda to visit Mangaluru on May 1

Mangaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) chief and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda will be visiting Dakshina Kannada on May 1.

At a press conference here, Member of Legislative Council B M Farooq said that Deve Gowda will arrive at the helipad at Fiza Garden Krishnapura in the afternoon on May 1. He will hold a press conference at Surathkal, before proceeding to Sunkadakatte Ambike Annapurneshwari Temple, Balavandi Daivasthana, and Gurupura Kambala Dargah.

Deve Gowda will also attend a public meeting at 5 pm at the exhibition ground at Gurupur, Kaikamba. He will honour workers on the occasion of Labour Day, Farooq added.

HDK to visit Krishnapura on May 5

Former Karnataka chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will attend a public convention at Krisnapura here on May 5, Farooq informed.
